HOOFED

HOOFED ANIMALS

Hoofed animals are known as even-toed ungulates, belonging to the order Artiodactyla. Hoofed animals are generally herbivorous mammals that may live in large herds. A number of hoofed animals have huge horns. During the mating season, males often use their horns in combat with other males of the same species. Many hoofed animal species are adapted to run at speed in order to escape from predators.
